By downloading, installing, or using Salamly ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Salamly is a free, open-source Islamic companion application that provides:
- Prayer time calculations based on your location
- Full Quran text with multiple translations
- Tasbih (digital counter) for dhikr
- Qibla direction compass
- Ayah bookmarking and sharing features
3. Use of the App
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App beyond what is permitted by applicable open-source licenses
- Use the App for any commercial purpose without prior written consent
- Redistribute the App under a different name or brand as if it were your own work
- Use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the App
4. Prayer Times Disclaimer
Important: Prayer times are calculated using mathematical formulas and your device's location. While we strive for accuracy, times may vary slightly from your local mosque or authority. Always verify with your local Islamic center for important obligations.
5. Quran Content
The Quran text provided in the App is the standard Uthmani script. Translations are provided by their respective authors and translators. Salamly does not claim authorship of any Quran translation.
The Quran text and translations are provided for educational and spiritual purposes. In case of any discrepancy, the original Arabic text of the Quran is the authoritative source.
6. Qibla Direction Disclaimer
The Qibla compass relies on your device's magnetic sensor. Accuracy depends on your device hardware, calibration, and environmental factors (such as nearby magnetic interference). The direction shown is an approximation — please verify with a reliable source when necessary.
7. No Warranty
The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developers of Salamly shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App.
9. Intellectual Property
The Salamly name, logo, and visual design are the property of Nelu Code. The App's source code is available under its respective open-source license on GitHub.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this page. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
